Week 7

This week’s lecture pod discusses the characteristics of the launch, tray and list in an interactive app.

The launch: Allows the app the load while showing the branding on the actual content.

The tray: Allows the designer to add more space to the experience without the user loading the screen. Characteristics to consider when creating a tray;

• Be clean and lean
• Keep the names short
• Don’t scroll to much
• Don’t add other gestures
• Don’t overdue a good thing

The list: opens up level pages or pop up content that can move back to the home screen at ease. This is made up of three main components;

• The list items
• The navigation bars
• The navigation buttons
